Creating a New Way: Obession

Obsession: an idea or thought that continually preoccupies or intrudes on a person’s mind.

“By believing passionately in something that still does not exist, we create it. The nonexistent is whatever we have not sufficiently desired.” – Franz Kafka

“Success isn’t always about greatness. It’s about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come.” -Dwayne Johnson

Obtaining  goals in life require a distinctive passion. Professional athletes all have something in common- their obsession! They are obsessed with the results they want. They don’t quit when working out gets hard. They don’t stop when they’re faced with obstacles. They don’t stop because someone said they wouldn’t make it. They use obstacles as tools to perfect their craft.

To achieve greatness one must become obsessed with the outcome they desire. When it seems there is no path to take; build a road. When you lack direction; design a route that leads to your dreams. When there is no door to open; start cutting a hole in the wall.

The reflection in the mirror should not spawn fear. Have a distinguished swagger about yourself that cannot be misinterpreted.

You must remain obsessed with the payoff to get paid.
