Negative Self-Talk

Internal characterless statements expunge all validity of our progress.

  • I just want to be happy.
  • I want what’s best for you.
  • I hope things get better for me.

These crumbling phrases paralyze the human spirit. Consequently and unknowingly, creating a self-defeating vigor within your brittle mind.

You cannot afford to be ambiguous. The clock is still ticking – time is running out! You must speak clarity and conviction to your soul.

Engage Your Subconscious Mind

Write things down once your thoughts become meaningful or your goals become truth.  You must review them. Over and over. And over again- every single day!

The practice of writing things down is an accessory to a powerful mind. Psychologically this practice is proven to increase memory, minimize distractions, and sharpen the brain when you get older. Unload the burdens of your brain. Increase the potentiality.

If ever your emotions inaugurate feelings of defeat or surrender; your true self will override these impromptu notifications. Focus, concentration, and diligence will flow with ease. Contemplations suddenly are disciplined. Circumstances will be viewed from the mountain, not the trenches.

Suffering is the catalyst for growth! Be thankful for it and scream something positive to the bogeyman.

Give birth to a conviction within yourself to DO BETTER!

You must apply discipline and consistency to achieve your goals. You have to plan everyday. Hard work . . . works!- Denzel Washington

PLAYBOOKS

“As a dog returns to its vomit, so fools repeat their folly.” – Proverbs‬ ‭26:11‬ ‭NIV‬‬
Here you are again. And again. . . and again. You tried everything in the book to get your husband or wife to hear what you’re saying and they still don’t get it. You’re tired of arguing about the same things over and over.
You send flowers thinking that will fix the issue. Cooking dinner didn’t work. Therefore, their response is the same as it was the last 6 times.
Why should anything be different? What did you change? You didn’t change anything because you have said it so many times you expect them to get it. You can start by changing your expectations. You have control over those because, well… The expectations are yours to begin with.
Imagine you’re playing a sport and your coach keeps calling the same play over and over. There’s a big chance the other team knows what’s coming. They are prepared to endure the design of your routined attempts. You can’t score a touchdown calling the same play repeatedly. You are the coach!!! So change the game.
Use a different tone. Look at things from another angle and you may be surprised to see something you missed before.
Sometimes the easy shot is all it takes to win the game.

Overdose

Overdoing, over-expressing, or over-communicating can cause you to lose credibility.

The over-expression of your concepts and perceptions will make people tune you out. The power of your influence will be minimal. Communication is no longer effective; essentially they have been overdosed.

The drug is shot into the vein; boundlessly taking over the blood stream.   They are now paralyzed- numb. In this current predicament, your dialogue can never manifest into healthy communication. The conversation could go on for hours and not hold any substance.

Aim to be concise. Allow communication to work its way through. Let your rhetoric evoke further articulation.
