How Complaining Affects Your Life

Complain: to express dissatisfaction, pain, uneasiness, censure, resentment, or grief; find fault.

What good is it?- Does it change your circumstances?- Does complaining get you what you want in life? Typically when someone is complaining they are expressing concerns about others.

Your wife won’t come back because you complain about it. You won’t get a raise because you b!tch about how broke you are. The rain doesn’t stop just because you wish for sunshine.

The uneasiness created from your circumstances requires internal changes.

  • Option #1- Change how you look at the situation.
  • Option #2- Do something different to modify the situation.
  • Option #3- Ignore the problem and be still. Many times the situation goes away on its own.

“Much of your pain is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self.”- Khalil Gibran

Complaining only convinces others that you are not in control.

Malnutrition– lack of adequate nutrition resulting from insufficient food, unbalanced diet, or lack of adequate nutrition from insufficient food, or defective assimilation.

Your mind and spirit have an appetite that needs to be acknowledged. Lack of sufficient food for your soul have detrimental effects. You must take care of them just as you do the body.

Anorexia effects the body just as wisdom does the mind and spirit; feed them daily.

Stay hungry. . .
Comfort is the worst drug known to man. Hold yourself accountable.
You must be ambitious and take responsibility over your life.
You’re not going to be handed a new mom & dad, you’re not going to be gifted a new job, you are not going to stumble on a healthy relationship.
Nothing will change unless you you do; therefore, you have all you need.

Impact- the action of one object coming forcibly into contact with another.

You must meet obstacles head on to create an impact. This collision is necessary to perform at a superior level. PUSH THE PEDAL TO THE FLOOR & GO!

You must be bold and dauntless. Take extreme measures. Transform problems into limitless breakthroughs.

High performance requires the ability to tune out distractions. Listen for outputs needing adjustment. Quiet the mind and the soul will speak.
